Megan Miller Collection Nail Polish

While on Pinterest a while ago, I came across a pin for nail polish and was immediately drawn in because of the adorable bottle
cute right??

So, I clicked on the picture and it took me to the  Megan Miller Collection page.  Not only are the bottles enough to go bananas for, but the polish itself is 3 free which means it doesn't contain Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Toluene and Formaldehyde.  These "Big 3" chemicals in nail polish are dangerous chemicals added to nail polish.  Big deal you say? If you're pregnant, have been pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant, this should be a big deal!  Nail polish can be harmful to a developing fetus.  Going 9 months without painting my nails not only made my nails dull to look at but my little mental break for a self-provided mani was severly overdue!
I wasn't pregnant when I came across the Megan Miller Collection, but just the mere thought of having the opprotunity to indulge in a mani/pedi while pregnant, made me want to dance! ... then I saw the price, $12 plus $5 shipping (Anthropologie now carries MMC for $14).  Now, I'm not cheap, but I would say I am frugal, and $12 just seemed a little steep for a nail polish that I've never tried. Nonetheless, I told a lot of my friends about my discovery and a lot of them were intrigued (especially the pregnant ones!).  Again, the price was the snag.  There would be no hesistation if we could see if it was worth the expense.
I e-mailed MMC a bunch of times asking all sorts of questions, and Jason from MMC was always quick to respond and went above and beyond even though I was a pest! (amazing customer service is always a PLUS!) Thanks Jason!!
I received my bottle of MMC yesterday in Roja.  I couldn't wait to try it, but with a 9 month old, I had to wait until after she was asleep for the night to get into it.  Now, I usually don't like red nail polishes (it makes me think of that scene in Mrs. Doubtfire where Robin Williams has on the super long, red nails! lol) but I had to try this out!  It went on like satin! Smooth and rich and when I saw the color on my nail, all thoughts of the long, red, terrifying nails went right out the window!  I felt like I wanted to make a Twizzler commerical or buy a Bomb Pop from the ice cream man or...you get the picture!  The red was happy and summery, not obnoxious like so many other reds out there.  Plus, while I was painting, I didn't get a single complaint from my husband about how "stinky" I was making the room with the polish!  I had to pinch myself to make sure I hadn't fallen asleep!
This collection had me with the picture of the bottle and made me fall in love when I tried it out!  And to top it off, their Facebook page had informed me that each month a selected color will be discounted! Hazaa! Caribbean is $9 for May!  Can't wait to get more colors and keep up with the monthly specials!
Now that you've spent your whlole morning/afternoon/evening reading this, go try Megan Miller for yourself! I'm sure you'll be just as happy as I am not only with the line, but with customer service as well! :)
